A web quest is a way to take an online journey with a class using the
web. By using web quest a teacher can lead every student through a lesson
at each student own pace. A web quest can last as short as a single class
period, up to an entire semester.
A lot of educators do not think that Physical Education teachers can use technology in their classrooms. I completely disagree. Using a web quest would an excellent way to implement the sports model into a class. In a sports model students will learn every aspect of a sports team. Including the coaches, players, manager act. By using a web quest I could have students look up all the information online the night before, rather than wasting precious class time.
The pros of a web quest are that students can work at their own pace, can work from home, and teachers can save class time. While the cons of a web quest are students have to have a computer with internet access. Students have to work from home or a teacher must use a classroom with computers

One part of playing a variety of sports is the ability to make decisions well. Most webquests are designed to develop students' ability to use higher-level thinking skills. You could definitely take advantage of the connection between webquests and sports.
